Te Ora Puāwai collective is made up of multiple organisations that agreed to design a collabortive ground-up model of care. Funded the Te Ranga Ora Programme under Te Whatu Ora – Counties Manukau a workforce has been established called Te Ora Puāwai to do just that.
Safekids Aotearoa is committed to prioritizing Māori health equity and upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi. They focus on supporting Māori and Pacific communities, particularly those facing inequities, by promoting Haumarutanga (safety) and Pae Ora (wellbeing) for mokopuna and whānau. Their work includes community engagement, policy advice, and advocating for Māori knowledge, language, and cultural practices.
Pasefika Family Health Group (PFHG) is a known and recognised Pacific Health provider based in the greater Auckland region. They have served the Pacific, Māori and Asian communities for the past 30 years.

Located in East Mangere, St Therese Parish Foundation stone of St Therese Parish Mangere East was blessed and laid by Bishop Patrick Dunn of Auckland on 10 November 2002. They serve the Mangere community through church services and other community initiatives.

Baby Loss NZ are a registered charity set up to support parents and their families who have experienced the death of a baby during pregnancy, at birth or in infancy. We also support parents facing the difficult decision following a poor prognosis. Power to Protect (P2P) is Aotearoa New Zealand’s national programme aimed to prevent and protect the shaking of baby (pēpi) and children (tamariki).
The programme began in 2010 as a response to the high rates of ‘shaken baby syndrome’ in this country. It was inspired by North American research suggesting the number of injured pēpi could be halved simply by educating parents and caregivers about the danger of shaking and how to cope with crying.

Baderdrive Doctors has been providing healthcare in Counties Manukau for over 25 years, with two general practices in Māngere and Manurewa, serving around 6,000 patients, mainly Pasifika. In addition to core services, they offer specialized clinics covering immunizations, men’s and women’s health, youth health, and more. The Baderdrive Community Trust, recently branched off, provides additional support like home visits for COVID-19 patients, flood-affected individuals, and infant immunizations. The outreach team works to serve Pasifika communities with health and social support.

Te Rito Ora Community Breastfeeding and Nutrition Advice supports Counties Manukau with infant feeding from pregnancy through to when baby is age two. We provide free antenatal breastfeeding education, infant feeding advice through text/phone/home consultations, starting solids advice; hold community cooking classes and much more. We also have a free Lactation Consultant available for complex feeding issues.
