It is a house of weavers where the sacred Measina of Samoa are weaved, designed, revived, preserved and narrated. This fale is guarded by the mauli of our ancestors and controls by the leadership, wisdom and fa’autaga loloto of the Matuau’u and the Ause’epapa. It brings people together to connect, socialize, talatala, fofo, learn the art and gagana and provides therapeutic and healing space for participants and weavers, a balancing approach to mental health and wellbeing.
